Well, It's official

The weekly poll showed that the majority of you guys out there are into Alternative music.  So, I'll be searching the world over to provide you with some great tunes here on AndyBraner.com.  Be sure to check back and we'll keep the polls rolling.  Up next...What are you planning on doing for the summer, and be sure to vote.  You can vote for as many as you'd like.

The Poll of the Day

Each week we take a poll of the greatest things going on in the world.  We want you to play.  We want you to voice your opinion.  And the question this week was, "What is your favorite part of Spring?"  And 33% of you said, it's the beginning of summer.

Well, that's my fav too.  The beginning of summer means the aspen leaves are on their way out.  The hay is getting ready to grow in the fields.  Bike riding weather is upon us.  The mountains are calling, and our ministry at K-Colorado is just around the corner. 

I hope you can come join us.  We're gearing up for the best summer of all time!!

YOU WERE RIGHT!!

Every couple of weeks I change the poll over there on the right side of the blog.  If you were one of the people who participated this month, you got it right!!  73% of you said that the purpose of Easter was to celebrate Jesus' resurrection, while 32% of you combined the resurrection with the crucifixion. 

Jesus' Resurrection allows or New Life to begin.  It is the beginning of God's New Creation, and the fulfillment of all He told us in the Old Testament.  WAY TO GO!!  Next....your favorite parts of spring!

On another note, Spring is here, and Summer is on the way.  Don't forget to sign up for K-Colorado this summer as we continue to train teenagers to know what it is they believe while they embark on the adventure of a lifetime.  Just click on the K-Colorado logo over on the left side of the blog, and you'll be directed to the Kanakuk page.

As we finish up the last week before Spring Breakers take off for a little vacation, the results of our Web poll Are in....
When Asked, Where do you want to go for Spring Break, the answers were,

1.  17% going to the Mountains
2.  24% going on a Mission Trip
3.  24% Staying Home
4.  34% are Heading to the Beach

So it sounds like the majority of you guys are heading out to the warmth of the sun and the sand to start the spring season!  Have fun, be safe, and HAVE A BLAST!!

It's Official, More Information over the Internet

It's official.  76.9% of you surveyed over the last week have expressed your knowledge base comes from the Internet.  What a change! 

15 years ago this platform was a novelty.
10 years ago it started a bubble of enormous wealth
5 years ago we all started playing with blogs, facebook, myspace, and youtube.

And now it's the number 1 source of your information. 

So this got me thinking today....

Can we grow in our spiritual lives with information used over the net?

I know we have podcasts, vlogs, different learning and training materials, but is that the BEST way to transfer information?  How can we be in front of the next wave of technology, so we can learn from each other in real time? 

Is it Skype?
Is it iChat?
Is it message boards?
Is it blogs?

I'm going to post a poll and see how the majority of you would like to receive information.  Feel free to vote.  Feel free to leave comments and feedback.  We value your input. But, if you're just a drive by blog reader, no worries.  Take your time, don't feel obligated, and we'll wave as you read on by.
