This morning we had a wonderful news article air on CBN. (Click Here to read the full article) The KIVU Gap Year is beginning to garner the eyes of students and families who are searching for a place they can learn what their gifts are in the context of a Real Worldview.
They travel to 6 different locations, intern with some of the most high profile organizations on the planet, and are exposed to cultures, languages, and people groups from all walks of life.
We started this program 4 years ago, and we've now found a groove where we know exactly how to help teach and train students while allowing God to work in the space. They find what they are most excited about doing for a career, they see Jesus followers working in Real Time, and they leave the program with a Life's Thesis outlining some of the goals they have going forward. We have found The KIVU Gap Year a program that isn't just "let's skip a year before I go to college," but rather; a necessity for students to explore before they start their life long journey .
The students are exposed to Global Business, Urban Development, Spiritual Formation, and ultimately one of the highest adventures they may ever experience. They live with families in Africa, climb Kilimanjaro, and end up working with some of the most powerful leaders in the Far East.
Feel free to explore The KIVU Gap Year at http://www.kivugapyear.com and see the testimonies of our present and past students.
We begin our school year this weekend in Denver, and the stories that will be appearing in the coming months are nothing short of AMAZING!!
Thanks CBN and the crew for helping to highlight a dream we have to help students develop a Comprehensive Worldview.
